The problem of possible unhealthy social integration and ineffective communication methods for Mexican immigrants is entirely relevant to society as a whole. Mexican-born immigrants also among the highest in the percentage of poverty, 25.8 percent, compared to 11.2 percent of natives. If the U. S. born children am ong immigrant families are also counted, the percentage raises to 28.7. A key issue mentioned previously is the problem of poverty faced by immigrants coming in from Mexico.
